I launched my company Ocean Feather Pty Ltd back in 2003/2004. It was born out of a love for travel and a love for sports which rely on the weather (surfing, kite surfing and snowboarding). I needed to change something, my 9 - 5 office job was consuming my life, leaving little room for anything else. The concept was simple. I wanted to build a business which would free me of the constraints which were restricting me from traveling more often and spending more time enjoying my sports. I identified these constraints as budgetary and temporal. (More about the Ocean Feather Concept here).

I never planned my business to take the shape it has, or to lead me to where I am today. But here I find myself in 2009, running a bunch of my own internet based businesses from the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Having developed and refined my own internet marketing skills, risked trialling them and proved they work on my own businesses, I also help a very exclusive number of businesses with their internet marketing.

Marketing on the internet is unlike any other forum of marketing. It constantly evolves, it constantly moves, it constantly presents new opportunities. To get it right is a full time job. Its a full time job as it requires a commitment to not only complete the tasks to market your business today, but a commitment to keep abreast of innovations and changes, to make sure you are also looking after your web presence tomorrow.

I understand that most small and medium sized businesses do not have the time or the budget to employ a full time resource to do this for them. Your business is not internet marketing, it is the products and services you are selling.
